The Inn
was built in 1995 in response to the popularity of our other Inn, the
Channel Road Inn, and in response to the concept that travelers enjoy a
more intimate California beach hotels, a unique setting, and smart comfortable
rooms. Drawing on his childhood memories of Cape Cod, our architect
created a light-filled interior designed to bring a sense of the
natural marshes and salt air into its refreshing spaces. |

to the elegant but comfortable living room with its blazing fire and
warm decor. Sunsets are especially beautiful from our
living room deck as you can watch the billowing sails of the
boats drift back from the sea. |

Enjoy spending time in our sunny yellow breakfast room with rich
Tuscan colors. On winter mornings the white egrets come close to
this California beach hotel’s windows and people watch. In
addition to observing the many birds that gather outside, guests
can see the mountains, the Getty Center, and even the Hollywood
sign from the breakfast room. |

outdoor gathering places include a garden sunbathing area
surrounded by fragrant roses and lemon trees, an interior
courtyard for outdoor dining, and back deck overlooking the
Marina. |
